The coastal trail follows the route of the Chacewater and Redruth Railway and Portreath Tram Road (which were built for the transportation of copper ore). In one direction the route takes you through some beautiful landscapes of our mining heritage to the small coastal town of Portreath and a lovely beach. In the other direction you ride to Devoran set on the banks of a pretty inland creek which flows into the Fal.
